SITE DESCRIPTION The Emergency Department at Perry County Memorial Hospital is physician-staffed twenty-four hours a day and is prepared to handle all of your emergency medicine needs. In addition to two fully equipped trauma rooms, the department has six treatment rooms and a staff of highly trained, experienced nurses and ER technicians. Ancillary services such as Diagnostic Imaging, Respiratory Therapy and Laboratory are in house twenty-four hours a day to assist in diagnosing problems and continuing care. Social Services are on call at times to assist in the care of patients presenting to the Emergency Department as needed and telepsych services with video conferencing with trained mental health professionals are always available to assist with the acute psychiatric/behavioral health needs of the community. SITE DESCRIPTION Three Rivers Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital and is dually licensed for twenty-five acute care or swing beds.  The 24-Hour Emergency Room is staffed with qualified Emergency Room physicians and consists of 2.400 square feet, including two trauma/treatment rooms and three examination rooms.  Three Rivers Hospital also provides Swing Beds for those who require extended days of care and rehabilitation after an acute inpatient stay either at our hospital or another hospital. SITE DESCRIPTION Morehouse General Hospital is a 49-bed full-service acute care hospital that provides comprehensive health care services in both inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. The Emergency Department is supported by a number of other emergency agencies. They work closely with Med Life ambulance service and Air Evac to ensure the best continuity and transfer of care. They also participate with Glenwood Medical Center’s Chest Pain Center to improve outcomes for patients who are exhibiting symptoms of a heart attack and Ochsner Health System’s Telestroke Services to improve outcomes for patients who are exhibiting symptoms of a stroke.  COMMUNITY DESCRIPTION Bastrop, LA is the largest city and the parish seat of Morehouse Parish with a population of nearly 13,000 people.
