SITE DESCRIPTION
Three Rivers Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital and is dually licensed for twenty-five acute care or swing beds. The 24-Hour Emergency Room is staffed with qualified Emergency Room physicians and consists of 2.400 square feet, including two trauma/treatment rooms and three examination rooms. Three Rivers Hospital also provides Swing Beds for those who require extended days of care and rehabilitation after an acute inpatient stay either at our hospital or another hospital.

Morehouse General Hospital is a 49-bed full-service acute care hospital that provides comprehensive health care services in both inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. The Emergency Department is supported by a number of other emergency agencies. They work closely with Med Life ambulance service and Air Evac to ensure the best continuity and transfer of care. They also participate with Glenwood Medical Center’s Chest Pain Center to improve outcomes for patients who are exhibiting symptoms of a heart attack and Ochsner Health System’s Telestroke Services to improve outcomes for patients who are exhibiting symptoms of a stroke.

Accredited as a Level IV Trauma Center by the Department of State Health Services. LMC proudly serves the citizens of Limestone County, Freestone County Hill County, also, Leon County, Robertson County, and Navarro County. The hospital is situated on a beautiful campus and is open to all communities. We currently serve many communities including, Groesbeck, Mexia, Kosse, Bremond, Thornton and many others.

Eastland, TX is a city in Eastland County, with a population around 3,900. Eastland is known for the legend of "Old Rip", a horned toad that lived many years sealed in the cornerstone of the previous Eastland courthouse built in 1897. In 1928, the current courthouse was erected, the prior cornerstone was opened, and "Old Rip" was found alive. The animal, a kind of lizard, received national publicity. It died in 1929 of pneumonia and was placed in a glass-front casket on view in the present courthouse. Eastland is located a little over 2 hours southwest of Dallas and a little less than an hour east of Abilene.
