Brownfield Regional Medical Center is a 26-bed acute care facility that provides general medical and surgical care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients, and participates in the Medicare and Medicaid programs.

COMMUNITY DESCRIPTION

Brownfield, TX is the county seat and principal commercial center of Terry counted, located on the South Plains of Texas between Lubbock (39 miles) and Odessa (104 miles). The city’s current population is around 9,800. The local economy has been historically based on agri-business (farming and related business and industry) and energy production (oil and gas), however, strong efforts to diversify the economy have been successful. Brownfield is considered the Grape Capital of Texas with more than 3,000 acres of vineyards.
