Proficiency with critical care skills is essential for physicians and advanced practice providers practicing in rural hospitals. However, research shows that not all clinicians practicing in this setting feel confident in their critical care skills. Dr. John Jones, Chief Medical Officer for Concord Medical Group and presenter of this webinar, is an evangelist for ensuring emergency medicine and hospitalist providers in rural and critical access hospitals have the critical care education and hands-on procedural training necessary to provide excellence in care for rural communities. Through that passion, he co-created and leads Concord’s REVIVE program, a procedural and educational training program for clinicians who practice in rural settings.
